Daniel's Fast

“In those days I, Daniel, was mourning three full weeks.  I ate no pleasant food, no meat or wine came into my mouth, nor did I anoint myself at all, till three whole weeks were fulfilled.”  Daniel 10:2-3

I wanted share the menu I put together in case anyone is also interested in doing the Daniel's Fast. I have several friends that have done it before or are doing the fast with me and this is also a way to share ideas with them. I know that not every meal looks delicious but I promise the benefits of it is very rewarding.

The Cost: Groceries for 4-5 days was right under $24.00

 Day One (8/29) 

Snacks: Granola mix with Cranberries, banana & plum.

Dinner:  Red potatoes cooked with Onion. 
Seasoned with Sea Salt, Cilantro and Powdered Chilli.

Guacamole Dip: Avocado, diced tomato and cilantro.

Day Two: 
Snack: Apple, Cranberry Granola Mix and an Orange.

Lunch: Whole Wheat Pasta, Tomato Sauce. 
(You can add mushrooms for protein)

Dinner:  Lentil Soup with Crackers
