Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day doesn't always land on a good day for us with Lawrence's school schedule, but this year the day was perfect, he had no classes on Thursday's! Since I'm the planner in the marriage (Love that role BTW), I had planned well in advance not to go to a restaurant for dinner because it can get so busy! Have you ever seen those waiting lines? The plan worked out perfect and it was so nice to enjoy dinner at home with just the two of us.

 We had Olive Garden to-go
I am on a gluten free diet (Not for weight loss purposes, I'll blog about that subject soon.) and they offer a few gluten free items on their menu plus we had a gift card. No bread sticks, chicken Alfredo pizza or Alfredo sauce for me, just salad and gluten free pasta entree. I guess you can't have it all, lol.
 We shared Our Favorite Drink:
Passion Tea
Apple Juice
& a few pumps of Raspberry

I decided on a white chocolate fondue for dessert, I love fruit and he loves chocolate!

These are the Sweetheart Topiary I made... HERE.
Each year I add a little more to my holiday decor once it goes on clearance or I at least try to make something...this year I only made one craft item for myself. LOL. Slacker! It's a magnet.

Made some sweet treats for my friends and family...

Special thanks to my sweet little friend, Natalia for bringing me a treat all the way to my work! Loved it!

They say that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach...and my man loves his snacks! I put together a basket will all his favorite goodies! I bought a cheesy card at Dollar Tree store for him and wrote him a sweet note to remind him of how much I love him.

(He already ate half the stuff in's barely Friday!)

Valentine's Day from the years before...
